SMOG Technician

Job Duties
Perform smog tests according to state regulations
Perform maintenance and repair on customer vehicles.
Identify problems with vehicles by using diagnostic equipment.
Test the functionality of parts and systems.
Perform basic to advanced auto care and maintenance tasks.
Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other parts.
Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles.
Prepared to get additional certification as needed.
Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
Help keep the repair shop clean and organized.
Keep a professional appearance.
Requirements:
CA Smog Inspector License is a must
Minimum 5 years experience as a smog tech and
An experienced technician who brings their knowledge in repair and diagnostics
A self-motivated, self-starting team player
ASE certification preferred
Master Level Tech
We are looking for a Master level Auto Technician to join our team. We offer excellent service to late-model light and medium-duty vehicles. Responsibilities:
Perform automotive repairs and maintenance tasks on a variety of vehicles
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using automotive diagnostic equipment
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles
Repair and replace parts, on all vehicle systems
Ensure all work is performed according to safety standards and regulations.
Requirements:
Proven at least 10 years of well-rounded experience as an Automotive Technician, and solid diagnostic skills
Proficient in all aspects of auto repairs and automotive diagnostic equipment
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Extra compensation for a Smog Inspector or Smog Repair License (not required)
